Kept locked away. Most collections when budget allows, are properly catagoried and attempts at preservation are made. Othertimes, they remained overlooked even by the staff. This book is a treasure, and to read of the author's adventure into just how she came to write this book give me hope. Currently trudging away as a returnee to college studies, I hope to find a way to transfer into studies that will one day allow me to discover opportunities such as the one T.Shea was able to. She was willing to take a chance and make a change, during the process she was able to shed light on a neglected part of the past, cottage industrys involving knitwear. Thank you!
