I was trying a few of this author's books because so many people seem to like her. After 3 books I've decided I don't. The hero is an idiot and a nasty one at that in this book. The heroine is a wimp. That seems to be par for the course with Palmer. I can stand a wimpy heroine better than a hero who is verbally cruel to the heroine. In addition he thinks she is stalking him whenever he sees her in a town of 2000. That's a pretty small town and you're bound to run into people at social events and for him to not realize that was assinine. And that she just gave up and left everytime was too wimpy. But I repeat myself. I think I'm done with my Diana Palmer experiment. ( )

The heroine, Grace, really had a lot going for her - she stay courageous through the attempt on her life by a serial killer, kept her patience with a crabby grandma, stayed calm when verbally or physically attacked. The supposed hero, Garon Grier, became more of a jerk as the story progressed - skilled FBI man who can not handle it when it's personal, accuses Grace of stalking whenever he sees her, makes everything about him as most important. The only nice part was him helping her learn to not be afraid of a man's touch. ( )

I liked the concept and the story. I cant explain what i didnt like. Things were repeated several times, it didnt have good flow. I feel like the author just wanted to fill the pages. I didnt think the sentences flowed well. Like i said i think the characters were great.loved the story, but i didnt like the writing ( )

If you love heroes with uber groveling, a heroine in mortal peril, a baby, and a happily ever after, than this is the book for you! Good thing I like all of those things. :) ( )
