“Stone Cold” Steve Austin was born in Victoria, Texas and loved wrestling. He watched it all the time and eventually got into small amateur wresting rings. Eventually his passion leads him to the WWE but his body could not keep up.

This book was a little disappointing because I thought that the real Steve Austin would be different than the person on television but he wasn’t. I would not recommend this book to any one looking for inspiration. It was very dull.

In the classroom this book cold be used to point out the disadvantages of being famous or how the wrestling profession is grueling on the body. Have the student research different professions and writing a paper on their favorite.
