As an animal-talent fairy, there’s nothing Beck likes better than speaking Bird, or Chipmunk. So when a conflict breaks out between the hummingbirds and the chipmunks, she steps forward to act as a mediator, but nothing she says seems to help. Will Beck be able to bring peace to the animals?
In this book, a war develops between groups of animals in Never Land, using berries as the weapons. It starts when one group accuses another of theft; the second group denies it and the firing of berries starts. The situation quickly gets out of hand as more and more groups of animals become involved in the battle. Only when the young of two different groups get in great danger do the various groups realize that they need to cooperate to save their children.
