Cover-to-cover action! Raging kaiju battles all over the place!
The protagonist is a fine enough schmuck, but Kikoru Shinomiya is totally stealing the show with her go-getter attitude and parental issues.

Listen, child. This is full-stop action with a thin slice of plot pushed into the middle. But it's engaging! The kaiju antagonists get annoying with "no you - reverse uno cards," but the fight scenes are dynamic. The ending is a doozy, so I can't wait to see the fallout.
