no notes. i am physically, mentally, and emotionally unwell after reading this. i think the feelings that jessa hastings made me feel while reading this (and still now) are the most intense i've ever experienced from reading a book before. what do you mean these characters are fictional, becuase they aren't to me!! i can't believe what i just read, or how someone could come up with that?? the diving into magnolia and bj's backstory, finding out why they are the way they are, everything in this was just written so perfectly. i might come back and add some more coherent thoughts to this review later, but for now, i need to recover. 3.
I received a copy of this book for free from the publisher (Dutton) for promotional purposes.
This book destroyed me in the best possible way.
I loved the first 2 books in the series, but this book was on a whole other level. It really tied books 1 and 2 together. This book focuses on Magnolia and BJ, but Daisy was in it a little bit more than she was in the first book and Julian was in this way more and had a larger role. Because of that, there was a convergence of Magnolia’s rich and privileged lifestyle with the Haites’ gang lord lifestyle, which made for an intriguing read.
The last 100 or so pages of the book were insane. A lot of crazy stuff went down. At one point, I was nervous to keep reading because I was a little scared show more to know what was going to happen next. The book definitely ended on a massive OMG moment.
There’s something so captivating about this series that has me addicted to it. It feels very different from any other series I have ever read. The author really knows how to take a reader on an emotional roller coaster.
Overall, this series just keeps getting better and better! I can’t wait to get started on reading the next book. show less

BJ and Magnolia. Magnolia and BJ.
I love these two! Jessa Hastings literally had me screaming at the book for all of the miscommunication they constantly have.
Y'all, the banter between Magnolia and BJ, is too good. They're literally the cutest and bring a smile to my face!! I read this book quiet fast, which is good but also sad. I only have like two more books in this series before it's over. (Insert crying here)
Honestly, after reading this book I've come to the conclusion that all these characters need to go to therapy. I mean I hate to say it, but they all are show more royally messed up.
HOWEVER! I love love love the twist in this book! Literally I did not see this coming. I think that the twist shows my BJ and Paili slept together and sort of more information on the backstory of that.
The writing didn't disappoint me once.
Honestly, I don't think this book could get much better. Magnolia Park Universe is by far my new favorite series! Highly highly recommend!!
AHH! Can't wait to see what happens in the next book of this amazing series!
