This was a fun read with great characters, two murder mysteries that may be intertwined along with plenty of potential suspects and new friends. Poly is a hoot and can be accident prone as well as stubborn when she decides to do something and I loved seeing her reconnect with her past when she comes back to San Ladron and her Aunt and Uncles fabric store. I was hooked from the beginning and was glad I could dive into the next book as soon as i finished this one.

Book 1, this is a murder mystery with plenty of characters for readers to connect with as the book takes time to introduce them before the pace picks up later in the story. Poly manages her inheritance while she is dissuaded from being there and murders occur.
