Introduction
Ruined Secrets is the 4th installment in the "Perfectly Imperfect" series and in this one we have a story about an unrequited love arranged marriage set up. There is something magical about the manner in which this author writes mafia romance. In this one we have a story that delivers in all the ways that matter. If you have a preference for more tradional mafia romance, then you definitely need to pick this one up. This ended up being the most satisfying read and I definitely feel like there needs to be more of this here. I really was interested in seeing how Neva Alta J would implement this one and I have to say that this is my favorite of the show more series so far. It was utterly delightful.

My Outlook
Ruined Secrets was such a powerful book and I am in awe of this author here. I just love every single moment that was delivered on this one. It was also so interesting seeing the way in which this author wrote this story especially in the aspects of "Amnesia". The actual set up of the Arranged Marriage was delicious. the way that these two banter was such so entertaining and lively and the heroine is NOT a shy wallflower. She is sassy and strong and has a cunning mind. She truly understands the mafia world and how to survive in it. I do think that even if you aren't a big fan of the amnesia trope that this one will work for you! The way that the author handled it was handled just right and it seemed to really balance in with the story overall.

The ending was perfectly played out! The author really built in the intesnity up to the climax and man that reveal and ending was STUNNING! I was so caught up in the machinations of the story, the build up of the relationship, that I was completely hooked into this one here.

I really like this author for the most part. The book is well written but, for me, MC amnesia just isn't interesting. In fact, I hate reading about it. My other con is the constant reminder of how "huge" Isabella's "ass" is! The picture in my mind was more akin to a cartoon character....not in an attractive way either. I do love the older man trope very much which is what got it 2 stars. The mafia business/issues keeps things moving pretty well. I think I skimmed close to 75% of this book.
Just a quick toxic story for funsies. The whole finger thing had me laughing.
My favourite in the series - you had me at long hair and kinky already.
