A very good story on many levels. Immensely enjoyed by my son, and a good follow-up to the original [b:Old Bear|1610490|Old Bear|Jane Hissey|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1185844984s/1610490.jpg|1604103] which also was a big hit. He poured over the cute illustrations. ( )

This book had very realistic drawings of stuffed animals. This a cute, friendly book about stuffed animals wanting to paint pictures and have theirs hung in the big frame. The attitude and thinking of the stuffed animals were much of like that as a child. The animals didn't want to work together to make one big picture, they wanted to all make their own. The use of patterns and some shapes is good for children who are learning about them. I really enjoyed this book and would read it to any child. ( )
