Discovered this on Book too and thought it sounded interesting. Sadly, it didn't live up to the hype. It had potential but it never quite took off. I struggled with the fluidity and flow of the story. There were just too many elements and subplots in the story for me to get invested.
I am rounding up to 3 stars because I did hang on until the end so that I could see how it ended and because the author deserves recognition for her hard work. I can't write a book to save my life and she has done that. I'm hoping with time and constructive criticism from her Beta readers, that she will get the feedback to get better. As I said, the potential was there.
