This collection of short stories is very, um, beautifully written. But the contents of the three stories don’t interest me the least. They are about (romantic) Love. And misery… And death.
No, but still I give it a three, because of Berberova’s language.

Denna novellsamling är mycket, hm, vackert skriven. Men innehållet i de tre historierna intresserar mig inte alls. Det handlar om den (romantiska) Kärleken. Och misär... Och död.
Nej, men det blir trots allt en trea, för Berberovas språk.
