It's cute and it's got Eric Carle aesthetics and all. I feel like the flipbook setup is a bit awkward--you end up flipping past the same shapes and objects again and again. This could have all been on one page of a big fun activity book. But I mean, no hate.

A fun flip book to work on shapes and matching with the children. There is a written name of each shape and then a matching picture (ie: Semi-circle and a half of a watermelon.) Has all the basic shapes and a few more difficult ones. Great illustrations, as usual, from Eric Carle.
Another cute book with Eric Carle's distinctive artwork. This one is a split boardbook to flip to match shapes to the picture.
A clever board book that helps very young children learns shapes by matching the bottom half of the page to the top.
Ages 1-3 yrs.
Good review or introduction of shapes. The pages on this board book is split and children can find the bottom half of the page matches the top half.
Independent Reading Level: Kindergarten

Awards: Laura Ingalls Wilder Award
An excellent primary book to teach shapes - with appearances by very special characters!
