Undulate is a scorching hot age gap, single dad romance with an MMC who's wounded and widowed and one of the most wonderfully unrepentant FMCs you'll meet. It features characters you've met in Unfurl but has a standalone, monogamous HEA (despite the helping hands our MCs encounter at Alchemy along the way). Holy hell
I'm not one that gets my hopes up with unknown authors, especially, ones, that in all my reading, that I haven't come across. Since Booktok became a thing, it has been hit or miss. More often than naught, its been a miss. However, the most recent video that I saw had me eager to give this a shot after the "review" had me laughing out loud at the high praise of the leading man from this story. I'm here to say, she was not mistaken. When I say that this book was delicious, I mean this book was DELICIOUS with a capital D.
The steam was top tier, the storyline was done in such a beautiful way. It wasn't just thrown together, all Willy nilly, for the sake of the story. It was thoughtful and had a depth that enhanced the progression. show more Getting the insight into the perspectives of both characters as they navigated this unconventional storyline WHILE, also being decadent shouldn't have been possible. However, this author did precisely that.
Had I read the previous book before I dove into this book? Nope. Normally, my Virgo brain would have had fits. I didn't feel lost and, if anything, it made me want to go back and read the first book, even though, initially, it wasn't on my radar by the blurb alone. After reading this, I want ALL the characters and their stories.
I highly recommend this book. I would give this man all the babies. ALL. OF. THEM. show less

I liked the book but there was a little too much emotional processing for my tastes for this kind of book. I think it's well written just not entirely to my preference.
