As you can see by my rating, this was not a novel that I enjoyed. I know that this is a fiction. However, like most readers, I want the plot and characters to be somewhat believable. This the 4th in the sisterhood series. It starts out with two of the main engaged characters (Nikki and Jack) having separated. A chance encounter at their favorite park, finds them in love and living together within 24 hours. Really?! Jack goes back to work in the DA's office. He's so in love with Nikki that he agrees to help her and the "sisterhood" in committing numerous felonies. Really?! The ending that included the revenge by the "sisterhood" was downright gruesome. I used to be a fan of Fern Michaels. It will be a while before I attempt to read show more another one of her novels. show less

Saddened by the deaths of the two sisters. Didn't really understand why it was necessary to have both & the baby die. Paula Woodley, though she suffered all those broken bones still went back to him after he had been brutally attacked. He will never dance to the beat of her drum in my opinion. His next step will be to kill her.
Just trying to finish this series, not Fern Michael's best work
This book starts out as Nikki's mission for the sisterhood, but changes to help the wife of the National Security Advisor. Read it to see why the change of mission. You will be surprised. Fact paced series.
Nikki sets out with one mission and then the mission shifts to saving the horses and then to save a woman.Nt the best of Fern Michaels
