![]() None No current Talk conversations about this book. ![]() ![]() After the first book, I didn’t harbor high hopes for the second. But sometimes a series soars after a rocky first-book start. This, apparently, is not one of them. I DNF’d at 27% because I cannot sympathize with a character who complains about having so much debt while continuing to live as if she is wealthy. Especially when she lambasts her younger brother for the exact same behavior she exhibits. I can’t feel sorry for Carlotta; and I don’t want to listen to her whine any more. Loving this series. Carlotta is a great character, she is a little sensitive but doesn't come off as weak. I hate weak characters. I love her friend Hannah too :D I can't decide which guy I like. It was Jack but he has me pretty pissed after this book. Coop is interesting but I can't help but picture him as an old man. Not sure why though lol. Peter eh I just think he is a bit of a whine ass. I can't wait to get started on the next one. no reviews | add a review
