Description

"you might even find that Trev can help with your history homework"
this is what this series is about, it is a younger version of the horrible histories (but without being horrible)
the narrative is easy to follow and is indeed a narrative at least although you do not at any point begin to empathise with the characeter he and hid story is merely a vehicle though wich to see the times.
I was please with the differentiation of additional facts in the illustrations and the narritive in the word which did enable this to be a story.
good for children who are interested in finding out about the period thought not certain that I could ever reccomend it as a straight story book
