This is the wordless book that I found in class. It follows a lady that is trying to make pancakes in the morning, but problems keep happening. I think that I would use this with preschoolers or kindergarteners, and it would help to teach them problem solving.

Great for talking about predictions and making inquiries with students about the different panels of things that were happening in the book to ask about what they think is going to happen next. ( )

This book tells the story of a lady who lives on a farm and wants to have pancakes for breakfast. She starts to make them when she realizes she doesn't have eggs. So she goes to get them. Then she notices she's all out of milk. So she goes to get that too. Finally she needs syrup, but when she gets back from getting syrup her cat and dog have eaten the eggs and drank the milk. She then goes to the neighbors to have some pancakes. This book can be used for younger ages to show them that they should try, and try again if at first they don't succeed. ( )
