I'm enjoying Brian K. Vaughan's run on Ultimate X-Men a little bit more now. Like a previous reviewer said, I agree that the Rogue/Gambit storyline (the first annual) is the best of the bunch here. I really enjoy the characters. The arc about Syndicate is okay, although nothing spectacular. Wolverine and Storm's exploits in Canada, the second arc collected in this series, is also just okay.
The next arc is going to include Magneto, one of my favorite Ultimate characters, so I'm hoping that it is better.

Three random unconnected stories, none of them are bad but it doesn't amount to as good of a whole as any of the other volumes with a single story line.
