I remember this being one of the better books in the Harpers series. Nothing special as swords and sorcery fantasy goes, but in a genre with so much junk, a solid book can be hard to find.
The city of Iriaebor has been taken over by dark forces and used to be the home of the bard Caledan. He has returned to find the town very different than the town he left. Caledan used to be a Harper but has become disillusioned. The story follows Caledan's efforts to rid the town of the dark forces.

I enjoyed the book.
Nice short story in the Forgotten Realms world. Typical setting and plot.
