My Review:

I decided to not do a full review due to the fact of what is in the book and not wanting to spoil anything too much. I do think you definitely need to read the others books first to this one. It involves many aspects of the previous couples in with this one, and isn't strictly based one one couple like the previous installments have been. Its really a book that ties everything together and we see multiple POV's of the previous couples involved as well. So I do recommend that you read these couples before picking this one up.

I found The Syndicater to be quite fascinating, if I am being honest. I really loved the couple that we did get to see featured here, although I would have preferred a bit more focus on them overall. I show more really was intrigued by their past and relationship and even though I am not a fan of flashbacks, I think a few here and there might have been beneficial to see some background on them. I did love their chemistry and the tight connection that they have for each other. I admired the hero for sacrificing for his girl and giving her what she needed. We get to see Tristan being reunited and we see the true villain of the syndicate and some reveals that I wasn't expecting to see and I found the way the author tied it all together to be stellar.

Overall I found this to be a stunning addition to the series that was a great wrap up and curious to see what else the author has in store moving forward. show less

The story was so absorbing, engaging, and gripping that I couldn't put it down. Book 1 and 2 was focused on Tristan and Morana, book 3 on Dante and Amara, book 4 on Alpha and Zephyr, and book 5 on Shadow Man and Lyla. Despite that these books focused on each couple respectively, the author also included the other characters so you are seeing what is happening to different characters synchronously. This technique offered the reader privy to secrets that explained how each character's story was intertwined with one another. This series had so much layers and depth! The author masterfully weaved together 8 concurrent storylines for 4 couples that built tension and angst as the storylines raced together a shared climax in book 6.
