Description

She's always dreamed of her wedding day. And those dreams never included saying "I do" to a man she hates. But when Tabitha's nephew's guardianship is contested, she decides she'll do whatever it takes to keep him in Rose Hill. Even if it means marrying the enemy. Rhys Dupris. A man who is secretive, broody, and completely infuriating. A man whose work takes him away for weeks on end and brings him back covered in mysterious bruises--ones he won't talk about. In fact, Tabitha and Rhys barely show more talk at all. Which would be fine, except when he's not talking, he's staring. And that's the way he looks at her is borderline indecent. The tension between them has always been palpable. But living under the same roof is a dangerous temptation. Tabitha swore she would never forgive him, but that was before she knew the man behind the mask. The one who's fierce and prophetic. The one who's gentle and patient, the one who shows up for her and her nephew when they need him the most. He's not at all who she thought he was. And that makes hating her husband so much harder and loving him just a little too easy. -- Back cover. show less

Book Review: Wild Side: Rose Hill
Series Book 3
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This story captivated me with its profound emotional
resonance, reminding me that love can transform our
lives. The chemistry between Rhys and Tabitha was
undeniable, fueled by a passionate tension that had
me invested. The slow-burning romance was expertly
crafted, making the payoff deeply satisfying. Rhys'
genuine vulnerability was a highlight, while Tabitha's
unwavering dedication to Milo was truly inspiring. The
writing was evocative, with quotes that resonated
deeply and left a lasting impression. Overall, this book
was a testament to the power of love to heal and uplift
us, showing that sometimes the show more greatest challenge is
embracing our own worthiness of love. It's a masterful
blend of emotional depth, passion, and personal
growth, making it a must-read for romance fans. Who
else is adding Rhys to their list of unforgettable
heroes? Chef's

Book 3 in Rose Hill series.

It was a hard start. I didn't expect to get so emotional over Erika. But i sure did. Especially when Milo names the plant after her. 😭 who was cutting onions in this scene?

I loved the banter between Rhys and Tabitha, the grumpiness in Rhys made him swoon worthy. He loved Milo so much and did what he could to stand by him. He was the best choice as a father figure.
This was my first wrestling romance and i didn't hate it. The mask did something 😉
Tabitha Garrison faces a dilemma when her sister, Erika's landlord claims that he has been given guardianship of little Milo in Erika's will. Tabitha isn't about to give up custody of her nephew, but she slowly comes to realize that Rhys Dupris isn't the villain she expected him to be. As they navigate the grieving process with Milo, Rhys and Tabitha find that they have a connection that might be more important than their anger.

Wild Side is a good addition to the Rose Hill series, but unlike other books written by Elsie Silver, this one focuses more on grief. Also, much of the first half of the book is filled with internal monologues that make it difficult to connect with the characters. Once they start to converse, however, the show more characters become much more likable, and the pace of the plot picks up speed. Overall, this novel is entertaining, but doesn't reach the level of other books written by this author. show less

This is the 3rd book in the Rose Hill series, and I recognize some of the characters from the other books. Rhys is a professional wrestler, also known as Wild Side. He keeps his profession a secret from those who aren't close to him. Tabitha/Tabby, a restaurateur, asks him to look out for her sister, who is his tenant, and her sister's son, Milo. After her sister dies, Tabby is furious with Rhys, especially when she discovers that her sister named Rhys as her nephew's guardian. Yet, underneath, Tabby and Rhys have a smoldering attraction.
If you want a romance with steamy scenes, this may be for you.
I rated this book a 3.8. I really wanted to enjoy it more than I did. I found the first half more frustrating than enjoyable. I enjoyed Wild Love much more.

Just AHHHH. Have to love Tabitha's wit and entire personality. And Rhys when he is with Milo, OMG I loveeee it.
My favorite Elsie Silver yet. I loved Rhys and needed him to find a HEA.
