I really loved this book! I wasn't sure what to expect when I started, but that didn't matter because I couldn't put it down. It's written in the form of a journal, which I really enjoyed. The main character also has a unique condition called synesthesia, which was interesting to see how he adapted and interacted with the world. The book debates several sci-fi/paranormal themes, with the three best friends having a wonderful nerdfest as they try to solve the mystery and haunting. I really loved the relationships and fun interactions between the friends throughout the story.

I actually finished this book in February and thought I submitted my review, but alas! It is nowhere to be found! This was my favorite read in February and is show more currently tied for top place for my favorite read in 2025 (we're about to start June 2025). My recommendation is to read it if you love ghost stories, sci-fi, mysteries, and stories about friendship and falling in love.

I received a free download of this book for my review from LT's Early Reviewers--and I am grateful! Thank you to LT and to the author.

It's not very often that a book sucks me in enough that I finish it in two days, but this one definitely did!! It is written in journal style, which I was not sure I was going to enjoy, but I honestly felt like I was sitting across from Bran as he was telling his story. It's a story of friendship, romance, and paranormal like you'd never expect. It's not your typical ghost story, and the storyline takes a twist as you get pulled deeper in. I won't give more details, because I don't like spoilers, but if you enjoy paranormal, READ THE BOOK!!

The writing was good, but this wasn’t my thing. If you enjoy journal entry style books, you should definitely give this one a try!
