Essendo un libro con solo le descrizioni dei personaggi, ho deciso di mostrarvi due illustrazioni, che sono poi la parte migliore di questo libro. I due personaggi che vi mostro sono Alec Lightwood e Maryse Lightwood, sua madre, due personaggi che amo e che sono conosciuti da tutti e quindi non fonte di spoiler alcuno.
Ho voluto dare 5 stelle piene a questo libro non per le descrizioni scritte da Cassandra Clare, che comunque sono abbastanza interessanti e ci fanno conoscere personaggi nuovi, ma per i disegni di Cassandra Jean, che sono stupende. Il suo stile è per me perfetto e vorrei comprare anche i suoi libri originali.
Assieme alle show more descrizioni, ad ogni personaggio viene dato un fiore con il suo significato per descriverne un po' il carattere, cosa che ho trovato stupenda.
E niente, guardate la magnificenza di Alec e Maryse. show less

Cassandra Clare was born Judith Rumelt on July 27, 1973, in Teheran, Iran. After college, she lived in Los Angeles and New York where she worked at various entertainment magazines. She became a full-time author in 2006. Her first novel, City of Bones, was published in 2007 and received numerous awards including an American Library Association show more Teens Top Ten Award in 2008, the Abraham Lincoln Illinois High School Book Award in 2010, and the Pacific Northwest Library Association Young Reader's Choice Award in 2010.
