The book represents with extreme precision the struggles and challenges of an activist. Being aware of what is going to happen to the community and the territory around you. The urge to make the people around you aware and prepared for the events. The bitter finale, together with the surprising beginning are the most interesting part of the story. I loved how the book is describing the internal voice of any activist that is telling them to give up. In this book you can see what is happening when an activist is listening to that voice. Truly interesting. The literary gimmick of the feather was marvelous. The illustration are giving the right flow to the story. I would like to ask the author: 1) What would you have done in the activist's show more shoes? 2) Why did you decide to start the book like this? 3) Where did you take inspiration for the feather, guiding the child (the narrator) in the house of the old woman? show less
