I'll Always Love You

First, I am sad that a picture of the book cover was not available. I love the cover. The book is a child's point of view on a parent's love. It offers several situations in which a child might feel that a parent may not love them or may disappointed, but each time Alex's mother assures him that she "will always love him."

I have a son named Alex so reading this book to him was wonderful! It was a way to re-enforce the love that I have for him in a way that he can see and understand through the words and pictures of the story.

To use this story further in a classroom setting I would use art by having the students draw a picture of someone they "will always love." I would also invite a special guest, a parent or grandparent of a student, show more to read the story to the class.
