[Update, 3/29/2016: another reading funk, pick this up to break it. And it worked...so far...]
Light, distracting reading. I enjoy Simon Hawke when I'm worn down and just need a simple, imaginative fantasy.

Mordrea and other rune stone holders dead, Merlin in body of street urchin, battle against necromancers. Funny and good characters. Esp. of evil people, comprehensibe motives for evil
Too graphically violent. I don't understand the choice of cover design at all - there's only a little bit of humor.
