The chef helps and they get the baby to it's mother. Myrtle is saved.
I enjoyed this book because the author was a very good author with amazing ideas for problems and solutions. She does not make the solution obvious. The author was very creative with names, and wants of characters. She was descriptive but not too much. She also had a very good rising action and climax. But at the end of the book the falling action fell a little to fast. It ended more with she was saved the end But other than that I hope others enjoy this book to. show less

Meh. Enjoyable enough, I suppose. Will have to get some kid responses. I suspect my rock-star readers in 2nd and 3rd grades will like it.
