Two little mice, Angelina and Henry, are ecstatic to go on a camping trip to "Big Cat Mountains with Uncle Louie." Setting off early the next morning, they hike miles to make camp, where the two run off to help gather firewood. But discovering that the forest is full of so many things to see, they become distracted, and spend the evening wandering deeper into the woods playing. When they realize night has fallen, the weather changes to dark&stormy, and the shapes and howls of the big cat permeate around them. It is Angelina who comforts Henry, fights off the big cat, and carries Henry to safety. Finally, Uncle Louie finds the two, and returning to the campsite, they enjoy the comfort of a fire and music.
This is a good example of fantasy because the main characters are mice. They go camping together and get lost. Their main fear is encountering the big cat in the forest, which also adds to the elements of fantasy.
Angelina and her cousin Henry are camping with Uncle Louie. When they get lost in the forest, the adventures begin.
