This story swept me away from the first chapter. After Bluemage Honor Renn survives a shipwreck, she’s taken aboard the legendary, sentient Touchstone and thrown into a mission full of secrets, misfits, and sea-soaked danger. The worldbuilding is vivid and imaginative, with a unique magic system and a crew I genuinely grew attached to. The found family vibes and slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers tension were addictive, and the emotional moments hit hard. I found the nautical terms and invented language interesting, as well as the characters and heart of the story. Overall, it’s a gripping, romantic, high-seas fantasy that left me eager for more.
