Description
The events of September 11 rocked our world. Across the nation and around the world quilters turned to quilting, as they always do in times of crisis, to express themselves and to reach out to others. The American quilter's Society, one of the world's largest quilt member organizations and a publisher of books for quilters, initiated two post-September 11 projects (United We quilt and The anchor Project) that offered positive avenues for expression. This book showcases those projects, and in show more so doing, gives quilters a touchstone for the shared emotions surrounding those events. show lessTags
