Just me and My Little Sister, is a well known book about the Little Critter experiencing another milestone in his life. One day little sister wanted to go play at the park, momma was busy so Critter volunteered to take her. Critter was a great protector over his little sister he ensured that she did not get hurt. Many fun activities happen between Critter and little sister at the park. This is a cute story about sibling attachment. I will use this material during family and friends week.
Little Critter takes his little sister to the park, and, though he says that he's helping her, we see from the pictures that he's having a tough time. He's getting tangled in the jungle gym, and catching her at the bottom of the slide. At the end, little sister wants to go back with him in the future, but he looks exhausted.
This book is for ages 3-6, is about a big brother and his little sister doing lots of different things together. It shows what it looks like to be a good big brother.
1st grade. Easy and short. The brother takes his sister to the park and is warn out by everything she wants to do.
