Description

"Isla Crown has charted a new destiny and leapt into the unknown, determined to defeat her insidious ancestor Lark, no matter the cost. But Skyshade is nothing like she anticipated, and she'll have to use all of her skills just to survive, let alone end Lark for good. Meanwhile, Grim and Oro would sooner set fire to their own kingdoms than leave Isla stranded on a path toward certain death. But getting her back will involve forging an alliance--if they can find a way to forgive their long show more history of betrayals"-- show less

Crowntide was such an emotional read for me. I get that the repetitive plot is getting old, it is for me too, but I'm definitely going to have to read the last book. Also, I thought this was going to be the last book so 4 stars because that's disappointing.
Contains tasteful, sensual, non-explicit, on-page, sexually-intimate scenes.
I loved this. I enjoyed Oro and Grim having to work together to save Isla. I really wished the ending could have concluded differently but im excited for whatever the next book brings.
