Going Off

Greg is having a hard time because he has recently lost his two best friends ( one moved away and one died), his parents are getting a divorce and he is stuck in the school holidays looking after his little sister. He is sent to stay with his Oma and his Aunt Flossie, his totally obnoxious bullying cousin Freck and his other step cousin Pokey (Pauline) who is quite nice (for a girl). Oma tells him some sad news of her own while they are there and Greg thinks maybe this is it - maybe he should just end it all as it is all too hard, but with Pokey's help, maybe he'll see that life isn't all that bad. [No swearing but main character has suicidal thoughts = adult themes]
