A slightly mixed bag. One was unreadable (for me) - I skimmed, I know what happened but I didn't have to actually read the idiot signing his death warrant. That was the v-log guy. Another one was unwarrantedly sad, the accidental glamor girl - I hope she contacts the lab and gets a living out of the accident. Getting away from high school and her mother would help but... Other than those, the rest were at least enjoyable. I would love to read more in Moby's universe (it reminded me of Allie Brahms', I'd be delighted to see Mel's take on a place like that), the dragons (like and unlike Twisted Luck - a very different way for magic to return), and the invasion with the cats and rhinos (unlike anything I've read, with lots of people I'd show more like to know better. And some I don't, but oh well). Area 51 was good, though nasty to the protagonist; so were the wizard innkeeper (great people), the date with the alien (with another nasty trick, not intentional), and the accidental time travel (as an antidote to the glamor girl, actually). And it was fun getting a look at young Carelian. Overall good and worth reading. show less
