Well that was intense. Chad and what's her face have unlocked their awesome powers and Uryû has challenged Ichigo to a contest: who ever can kill the most hallows wins. But when Menos Grande (one hugeass hallows to end all hallows) shows up, they have a huge problem on their hands. Normally a team of elite soul reapers are sent out to possibly dispatch Menos. It's just 1 Soul Reaper and 1 Quincy to protect everyone! I love the greater depth into Uryû's past and him as a person etc. and ten he (hopfully) (appears to be) coming to Rukia's rescue at the end when she's attacked by and excursion team. Uryû is easy my new favorite character at the moment (him and ichigo are tied)
I'm so sad now. This book held so many sad moments but it was too good. I don't want to go to the next volume but I have to.
The contest between Quincy and Soul Reaper ends in this book.
It's ok so far.
The contest ends and the winner is Ichigo won,but his sword is overused and is unleashing a lot spirtual energy.Saved from Uryuu who now know who to blame for his granfather's death.
I really recommend this series. A teenage boy helps direct souls in the afterlife to soul society where they can live peacefully. Only Hollows (corrupted souls) get in the way and even harm innocent souls. Ichigo relies on friends and family to fight for what is right.
