Terrier & Teddy
4.5 stars.
I really enjoy TJ Rose’s writing. Not a book I wouldn’t recommend! This enemies-to-lovers story is no exception. DI Theodore Maxwell (Teddy) is such a sensitive soul, making it really hard for him as a telepath. Rory Thorne’s (Terrier’s) obsessive dislike of him is really difficult for him to handle. The description of his ADHD brain, and how it is louder to a telepath, is awesome. The unintentional cuddles are great, and the misinterpretation of various signals seems completely appropriate. When they stop fighting their attraction, it really seems believable. I’m also very upset with Terrier’s family situation, due to how convoluted it all is. Overall, an excellent book with amazing creativity and show more gripping writing.
The last half star due to a significant lack of explanation. I’m pretty sure it will be explained in a later book.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes paranormal romance.
