Really cute addition to my travel guides from various destinations. I had traveled to Galveston earlier in 2025 and spent much of the time reading this book reminiscing and having feelings of regret for not knowing about some of the hidden gems. I hope the author does more in this series — and maybe beefed up the text I wanted more!
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. This is a fun and enjoyable travel guide for the many things to see and do in Galveston, Texas. I learned about things to do and places to visit. It's easy to read, with pictures and I realized there is much more to Galveston than I thought there was. The author does a great job of breaking out the chapters based on what section is most important. The guide will make anyone want to travel to Galveston. I'm already trying to figure out when to go and where to stay. I appreciate the sample itineraries offered in several of the sections.
