Description

Now with a new foreword by Brother Andrew, Each New Day is a collection of short yet profound devotions for every day of the year from the heart of Corrie ten Boom. Based on incidents from Corrie's fascinating life, each entry illustrates scriptural principles and attests to God's faithfulness. The result is a year-long candid reminder of Christ's victory over sin, Satan, and death; of God's promises and care; and that each new day brings a chance to serve and love God more.

Much as I admire Ms Boom's life I do feel her entire experiences in the time of the Nazis and the lessons of that era and times before and after all merely reinforce my atheist concept: There is no God. This is an invaluable book for generosity of thought and yet none of it need be attached to a Faith in order for Humanity to follow its guidelines. My miserly star rating is for the religious connotation and to be fair it could be 4 star for the general content.
