Jacob's Faith

This book was such a refreshment from its predecessor and I'm so very thankful for that! It had passion and tension and the main characters had a history with each other, they didn't just met and fell madly in a mess of lust and love. Faith is probably one of my favorites female characters, probably the best one since Sherra and that is saying something, because there were some very good and wicked ladies until this book. Jacob was so full of it and Faith told him to suck it up and then they didn't just have a witful banter, they went right down to it and started to fight and be crazy with lust; which leads me to the sex point of the book: a LOT more than the others and that is pretty amazing, since Ms. Leigh LOVES her sexy men and show more women getting down and dirty with each other. Oh, and it had an ending that simply ended the Faith and Jacob part but left a wide opening for us to know who would be the next Breed and what is going to be the deal of the next instalment. I love hearing about Wolfe and Hope. Wolfe has been on his own so long he does know how to handle his mate. Hope doesn't let him get away with much. Jacob is the usual clueless male thinking that since Faith is small and delicate looking that she can't handle the sex needs that he has. Faith has been waiting so long of Jacob that she is not sure if she wants to be with him or stay independent. I guess they are going to have to work things out soon. I had forgotten that the Council had a way to make the Wolves more able to conceive. This was a good story. I loved both Jacob and Faith. Faith was feisty and intelligent and more than a match for Jacob. Jacob is a typical Breed in being stubborn, over protective and a little to dense for his show more own good. As mentioned below there are a number of new characters noticed in this story as well as a new group of Breeds.

One of the best pieces of advise ever given to a Breed Male about mating heat and alcohol: Trust me. Jacob, you want to limit this as much as possible unless your stamina is equal to that of a rabbit. LMAO

Who is Caleb and is he going to be important to a Breed. This is the first time that Styx and Stygian have been mentioned. There is also mention of Tanner and Scheme having twins. I bet that just thrilled Tanner. This is also the first time the Winged Breeds have been mentioned. show less

I liked how in this book, both people involved in the mating were denying it at first. It was interesting to me, to see a female denying the emotion involved instead of just the male. I was also intrigued by the introduction of some "non-evil" Coyote breeds. I'm curious to see what happens with their mating in future books.

Jacob and Faith are a great pair!! Faith is a total bad a$$. I really like the story and the direction the series is moving in!

Could of skipped about 85-90% of this book and been fine! My least favorite of the series so far!

Worth reading between other books when I need a change of pace.
