Allyson James has created an interesting universe for this book (and the series) - it drew me right in, and the storyline and characters kept me intrigued. And it was hot, hot, hot!! I really enjoyed it, and will definitely be reading the next in the series
The Shareem are genetically enhanced humans created to pleasure women at 3 different levels. However when the 4th level was not controllable and rigged his own escape the program fell apart and the Shareem now lived in the shadows. Rees the level 4 escapee is hired by Talan’s adoptive parent to teach her the pleasures of her body, fearing her ethereal life is stale. Rees takes Talan on a sexual journey and discovers things about himself while Talan is making her own discoveries. A very erotic tale but not much of a plot. Secondary character Rio seems an interesting hero for the next in the series. Hoping for the best.
A good erotic paranormal story with a decent enough plot to carry all the sex scenes although hero constantly built up as ultimate sexual being and I was never quite convinced that it was warranted. Rees was created to be a sexual being and catches the attention of high born lady Talan.
Interesting. LOADS of sex.
