WALRUS succinctly well-written with valuable references with at times odd chronology.
His childhood read like a worthy fantasy which many would have loved to join!

I was with David Garrick 100% from Whales, Baby Seals, and Wolves on through Logging,
Greenpeace, Mercury poisoning, Uranium,
and fears of Nuclear disasters.

His connections with nature, like The Grandmother Cedar Tree, were inspiring,
as were his many words of wisdom.

Unfortunately, we departed ways with the wolves.
Did he really not see his own contradictions
when he attacked white men for their Wolf Cull while
totally sparing the native people with their hideously painful wolf trapping...?

Death by trapping did not count for him...

It would have been welcome if he had early treated show more Takea and his children with the time and respect he gave to those who drew him so far away. show less
