Thank you LibraryThing and the author for the copy of this book. It’s written well and full of drama and trauma. This book is about Mal and Loco who have grown up with rough childhood trauma. They became best friends and wanted to make names for themselves in the rap/ hip-hop world. Mal finally decides he's ready. Loco is supportive until Mal meets Portia. Loco becomes jealous of Portia and Mals relationship and sets out to destroy Mal and his relationship with Portia. Loco does some very sneaky underhanded things. Portia does everything she can to discourage Loco but he doesn't take the hint. In the end Loco does the unthinkable and kills/ruins so many lives. He almost kills the object of his obsession!
