Days later I am still thinking about this book. The concepts in this book are soooo thought provoking, hopeful AND some are bit unsettling. I really wished this book was longer, with more narrative and character development. Or even the same length, but with MORE from the characters. The concepts themselves are well fleshed-out but I wanted to FEEEEL them through the stories, not just be told "this is better now." I want to hear WHY Sarah feels better (not just because her grandmother worked hard and never got the same compensation, which we were told like 10 times throughout).

I feel like if this book were to be developed into a longer, novel-length it could go both ways. Surveillance horror a la Gattaca or something similar to "I Who show more Have Never Known Men" OR something truly hopecore/matriarchal. I'd like to actually see these characters in these situations - it would actually make a really interesting movie.

Thank you for the ideas and concepts and hope
