The writing draws you in to the characters' lives. You feel like you are the proverbial fly on the wall watching it all unfold.
The description of how a room feels by sounds. How Daniel can tell when people are there by the displacement of air.
The lives are not over told, just enough to understand what they have been through.
I thoroughly recommend this to anyone
