Catamorphosis

This book was a mix of supernatural and horrors that woman deal with all the time in the wild. Corrupt cops and shit ex husbands. I loved this book so much. Otto is the bestest guy on the planet.

I really enjoyed the way Shannon Knight wrote this and used the cat element in this book, it had that plot that I was hoping for and enjoyed getting to know Jasmine. The overall storyline was so well written and enjoyed the concept of this. The characters were realistic and had that overall feel that I was looking for. I'm excited to read more from Shannon Knight as this was really well written.

This book had such an interesting premise and I ended up quite enjoying it. Otto was easily my favourite character! And I enjoyed how a theme of women's healthcare was woven throughout. Although I ultimately didn't end up enjoying it quite as much as Domestication, which I read last year, I do think this one will appeal to more people as although it has several similar themes, it is slightly less violent and extreme (which I feel like I always have to make a disclaimer about if I recommend that book).
