This book would be at home in any video essay analyzing the psychology of Star Wars. The author did a good job of putting the prequel trilogy into its context and establishing its importance. While I've been one to dismiss the prequel trilogy, his analysis of it was able to convince me of how it represents how and why Anakin developed the way he did. It's been over a decade since I last watched / read anything from the Star Wars universe, and I'd like to rewatch the original six movies with his insights in mind. Overall, the book was a piece of media analysis which would be a valuable read to anyone seeking to understand character development in Star Wars.

This book examines the Star Wars movies through the lens of human psychology, specifically what causes good people to turn bad. At 250 pages, it feels more like a college thesis, but it’s still an interesting premise.
