Oh, how charming! This book of "super-sweet" facts offers a bright contrast to many nonfiction children's books. No gross-out humor here—just wholesome joy! The book itelf is short, and the entries are quick and easy to absorb. A dotted line traces a literal journey from fact to fact, showing that one idea really does lead to another, and extra lines (shortcuts) allow readers to skip around a little to follow interesting themes. The illustrations are a mix of photographs and whimsical cartoons. Despite the title's allusion to an encyclopedia, this book is anything but dry. Each entry seems designed to make readers smile, and even children who don't enjoy reading might find pleasure here. Uplifting and informative!

I grow increasingly obsessed with the FACTopia! series and this addition only adds fuel. I love fun facts and I love cute things. This takes both and rolls them into one fabulous compilation of 200 of the cutest pieces of information you could ever need. I love the color illustrations and the trail that keeps readers engaged, learning new things you never knew you needed to know along the way!

Thanks to the publisher, What on Earth!, for a free copy of this book!

My kids can’t get enough of this book! They loved all the cute (and silly) animal pictures and of course, learning fun facts about them too. As a teacher, it’s fun to read a fact and then go more in depth like what IS a black hole in the first place or watching a video of animals we’ve never even heard of before! Super neat book and now I’ll definitely look for more of the “Factopia!” books to add to our home library. I would highly recommend this to any curious reader who loves learning cute little facts to share with others!

Cute Factopia is a fun and engaging book appropriate for all ages. I had my second grade kids look at the book and give me feedback. What they loved the most were how the facts were connected by a "trail" that leads from one to another. It made it fun to keep reading and to see what was next. They loved that the illustrations were photos and drawings combined. They thought the facts were really interesting. The only part they didn't like was the beginning when the author explained what the book was about and how it was organized, but they guessed "you sorta have to maybe." Overall, this is a great book for all ages. It's fun, interesting, and keeps the reader's interest. I would highly recommend for any classroom and any home with a show more curious child. show less

This book is super cute! I love the mix of cartoon and real life pictures. The random way it flows makes my brain a bit mad but overall it's a really adorable book.

This is not my first Factopia book, so I had an idea of what to expect. These books are always so fun to me. I love to see how they connect all the facts and the different ways you can read the books. My nieces (12 & 13, and my nephew, 4) love this book. They said it was a lot of fun and they liked the pictures and illustrations. So, for that reason I give this 5/5 stars. Wonderful.
