The Quaint Convictions of Kit Bennet

This was a fun read. I loved that so many of the roles were reversed. Mr. Bennett is a bit of an ass, while Mrs. Bennett is the steady intelligent (if somewhat negligent) parent. All of the changes worked well most of time. I do find myself wondering just how open about professing love a queer member of the upper class could be in this era.

An interesting retelling. Stays close to Austen but different enough to keep reading, and free of the historical blunders that mostly beset this kind of book. I loved Kit and Fitzwilliam and will certainly reread.
