While I can see the appeal, and I do usually get a kick out of Egan's quirkiness, this didn't quite succeed for me. I wonder what the tigers really had in mind in the first place, actually....
Funny in an odd way-rude humor-throwing pies and such-bully tigers demand food not on the menu-duck gives them a pie in the kisser. Tigers have awesome speech-very mafioso.
My husband and boys love this book, especially the crazy duck!
