Many kids love the Baby-Sitters Club and its members, but of course there are a few who don't, and Claudia has to deal with one particularly nasty kid who keeps spreading lies about the BSC as well as telling lies to get out of doing her homework, throwing the reputation of the club in question. There were times when I just wanted to smack that snot-nosed girl around, and was praying Claudia would (even though I knew it wouldn't happen)
